Fabienne Lanz, a prominent figure in the motorsport industry and Women in Motorsport global ambassador, has partnered with T4 Series, a leading motorsport platform, to launch a new initiative aimed at promoting gender diversity and inclusivity in the sport. As part of this initiative, Lanz and T4 Series are thrilled to announce the upcoming 3-day girls’ camp. It is designed to inspire and empower young girls to pursue their passion for motorsport.
Through a series of engaging and informative sessions, participants will have the opportunity to learn from experienced female racers and industry professionals, gain hands-on experience behind the wheel, and develop the skills and confidence needed to excel in the world of motorsport.
About The Camp
The Women in Motorsport 3-day girls camp takes place at the Formula K Race Track from 4-6 July 2023. The camp will provide a unique opportunity for 15 girls to learn the fundamentals of motorsports. This includes driving techniques, kart/car mechanical terminologies and understanding, race craft and strategies.
Over the three days, the girls will be led by SA Kart Champion and multiple World Winner Fabienne Lanz along with other leaders such as B- Fit’s Bernato Breedt, coach to SA Olympic Athletes, who will share their knowledge and skills with the young drivers.

The camp will include a range of activities including:
- Go-karting and simulator sessions
- Kart /Car maintenance workshops
- Motivational talks from female leaders in the industry
Visions and Goals are of utmost importance for our teens. Champion Fabienne has created a world-leading Vision Board called, Targets Goals and Rainbows, in which she will take each individual through. Focusing on their skills, passions, talents, dreams and the importance of living a balanced life and having fun for the soul.

Camp Fees & Details
The Women in Motorsport 3-day girls camp is open to girls from all backgrounds and levels of experience. Applications will open on April 10th and close on May 31st. The camp fee is ZAR 15,000 per person, which includes:
- Exclusive goodie hamper which supports women’s skills projects
- Journals and merchandise
- Nutritionist courses and physical training
- Classroom lessons by accredited officials within motorsport, media and etiquette
